Explaning Cluedo

Walt explain a game or sport using descriptive language

My game I explained was clue-do because my Mum taught it to me and its my favourite board game.

 Explaining Cluedo

Cluedo is a mystery game including 6 characters; Peacock, White, Scarlet,
Green, Plum and Mustard. They have all been invited to a party in a mansion
which is the setting of the game. The point of the game is to find out which one
of the characters are holding the host of the party hostage.

To set up the game you must shuffle all the cards. There are two decks,
one deck has all the weapons, characters and settings while the other has
instruction cards and time cards. The first deck you split into the three
categories and then you take one off the top of each separate deck and put
them in a special envelope, for the rest of the cards you have to hand them
out evenly. The second deck you take 1 card of the top when you land or roll
a question mark. If it’s a time card you lose 1 hour to find the kidnapper. If it’s
not a time card you are safe for now but there are instructions on the card
you have to follow. Now you grab a guessing sheet and before you start, you
mark all of the clue cards.

There are many ways to guess who is the kidnapper. One way is to say 2 of
your cards and say one you don't have. The way that works is because if the
challenger says they don’t have the card you don't have you know that
particular card is in the envelope. Another way is to say three things you don't
have. When you guess the person that your asking may show you one of the
cards that you asked. If they don't have one it will be one of the objects in the
envelope.

If you get all the cards and they are in the envelope you
have won the game.
